Behind the perspective.

Alena’s Perspectives is a collection of spontaneous discoveries — places, moments and details, exactly as I happened to see them.

I’ve always had an eye for details and interesting perspectives. Sometimes it’s a place, sometimes the light, and sometimes something completely ordinary that makes me stop for a moment. Then I try to capture it — which can take a while sometimes. My husband has learned that “just one quick photo” rarely means just one.

Most of the photos you see here happened exactly like that — somewhere along the way, without much planning. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
